After leaving a stressful work environment in 2020, I went in search of something to help me make sense of an everchanging world and bring a bit of calm into my life. In yoga, I found a community of positive, supportive, likeminded people and began to learn how to use movement, breathe and meditation to find peace and contentment. I knew that I wanted to share the practice that I came to know and love with others, so I embarked on a journey of learning and self-discovery that will never end.
In 2022, I received my 200 hour yoga instructor certification from Inlet Yoga and have been teaching regularly and continuing my education ever since. My teaching combines fundamentals of yoga poses, breath, tradition and self-expression to help everyone find their strong, empowered person, inside and out.
Although I enjoy teaching many different styles of yoga, my favorite class to teach combines two modalities, vinyasa and yin, which complement each other with their warming and cooling qualities. When I’m not on the mat teaching or practicing, I enjoy reading, cooking, growing orchids and spending time with my two fur babies.
