Yoga Class Descriptions

Iyengar
Iyengar Yoga focuses on structural alignment, use of props and sequencing of poses to gain, strength, flexibility and relaxation.

Beginner’s Yoga
This class is good for anyone who wants a slower pace class, focused on developing clear and safe alignment and building a strong foundation.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is done on the floor, with long-held passive poses, mainly working the lower part of the body, hips, pelvis inner thighs and lower spine.

Vinyaya
Vinyasa yoga unites poses and breath. We will flow from pose to pose using sun salutations and creative transitions to attain balance in the mind and body. Suitable for all levels.

All Levels Yoga
A unique all-levels class designed to relax your body and mind, weaving together breath, movement, and meditation. Some practice with standing asana is recommended.

Mindful Flow
A unique all-levels class designed to relax your body and mind, weaving together breath, movement, and meditation. Some practice with standing asana is recommended.

Subala Sadhana
A relaxing 90 minute class that combines yin yoga and yoga philosophy readings with an elongated 20 minutes meditation at the end. Class themes will vary from the Chakras, Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and other sacred texts.

Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is great practice for those that need just a little more support. By taking the balance issue out, you are able to stretch, strengthen and relax. Breathing techniques and meditation are also included.
